I’m a family lifestyle photographer that is drawn to the beauty of natural light and playful moments. I’m here to have fun with you and your family and capture it along the way!
My journey and love for photography started with my mum who sadly passed away from breast cancer when I was a child leaving behind boxes and boxes of documentary style photographs. She documented every step of our young childhood, for which I am now so thankful for. My turn sadly came in early 2025 when I had my own breast cancer diagnosis. Thankfully it was caught early and my fate was not the same as my mums. During that period, I wanted to honour the strength and preserve the memories of my body before surgery and also after surgery by making sure I captured my own body and celebrated its power and capabilities! This is a session I now offer complimentary to those going through their own breast cancer journey.
Since becoming a mother to my little girl, the importance of documenting family life has become even more apparent. Time goes by so quickly and I want to help families treasure those special moments in a way that reflects their personal connections. I don’t do poses, my style is very natural and organic. If a little direction is needed, I am on hand to guide and make you feel comfortable. I’m here to hang out with you in your natural environment and capture ‘you doing you’ as a family. However that might look!
In my earlier and slightly wilder years I was often the one with a camera in one hand and a naughty Smirnoff Ice in the other (don’t judge me – it was the noughties!) I would be your ‘go to girl’ to piece together the events from the night before, purely from looking through my camera! The wild days passed and my love for nature and adventure grew. I travelled solo through South America and Asia, camera in one hand and this time a smoothie in the other! I’d spend my days capturing the most magnificent sights and meeting so many amazing people… a part of my job I definitely love the most today too!
The creative buzz was becoming louder, and I decided to take the plunge and leave my career in the NHS to follow my passion and I have never looked back or been happier. The joy and fulfilment I get from creating beautiful imagery for clients to look back on for years to come is amazing. To be able to freeze a moment in time is priceless.
I’m at my happiest with my family and good friends and can often be found either by the coast (my calm place) or running free in a field full of wild flowers followed by good food and a cosy fire!
